Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan have a love story for the ages!

On Tuesday, the 63-year-old Back to the Future star celebrated his 36th wedding anniversary with Pollan, 64, by posting a sweet throwback pic in honor of the happy occasion. The pair, who met on the set of Family Ties, tied the knot on July 16, 1988, in an intimate Vermont ceremony.

Alongside his Instagram post — which sees Fox and Pollan sitting on a diving board in their youth with his arm wrapped around her — the actor penned kind words for his wife.

“Here’s to a lifetime of love with the love of a lifetime. Happy anniversary, T. Forever ♥️,” he captioned the pic, which has been more than 100,000 likes.

In the comments, the couple’s famous friends congratulated them on the major milestone in their relationship and remarked on the sweet photo of the baby-faced actor and actress.

“Happy anniversary ❤️,” responded Julianne Moore.

“Love this pic! ❤️,” added Ali Wentworth.

“❤️,” shared Fox’s Back to the Future co-star, Christopher Lloyd.

For her part, Pollan posted her own throwback pic with her hubby, similarly celebrating their momentous 36-year marriage.

“Same spot, different year! Happy anniversary my love, we haven’t changed a bit 😘 I love you!” Pollan penned in her Instagram caption, which Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddinham responded to with, “Happy Anniversary to the most beautiful pair. 🫶🏻❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”

In May 2023, ET caught up with the Teen Wolf actor — who recently took the stage with Coldplay to play the guitar during their Glastonbury set — and he called his marriage with Pollan “the best 35 years of my life.”

“We give each other space to make mistakes. Always remember that. Don’t perceive slights,” Fox said. “… That’s what’s beautiful about marriage, it’s us two.” He added that he’d also “be dead” without his better half.

The couple have stuck together through ups and downs, including the births of their four “beautiful kids,” as Fox called them in his previous sit down with ET, and his struggles with alcoholism after his Parkinson’s diagnosis.

“I was just clearly using alcohol to cover the disease,” the actor, who hasn’t had a drink in more than three decades, said. He added that he made a deal with himself and his family to laugh through the hard bits in an effort to find joy in even the most painful experiences.
