Inside blind mystic Baba Vanga’s home you can visit that has scalding hot ‘healing water’

She is known throughout the world for being the blind mystic who predicted a range of rather ominous outcomes. We’re of course talking about Baba Vanga and her futuristic wisdom.

Despite dying almost three decades ago in 1996, she claimed to have seen the future; something that obviously comes in handy, should you be predicting what is to come.

Vangeliya Pandeva Surcheva, more commonly known as Baba Vanga, lost her eyesight when she was just 12 years old after being severely injured by a ‘tornado’ in her native North Macedonia, known as the Ottoman Empire when she was born in 1911. It was this incident that reportedly gave her the gift of foresight.

For the sceptics, she is attributed with predicting the outbreak of the Second World War; the death of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin; the death of Princess Diana; and the 9/11 attacks in New York City. And it’s looking grim for 2025, too.

Well, for those who are fascinated by all things Baba, you can now visit her actual house in the Bulgarian town of Rupite.

The area is incredibly mountainous, and has attracted visitors since before her death, with many people trekking there to try and get Baba to help their with their own personal problems.

Baba has come a cultural icon in Bulgaria, with her ability to help people a part of the national psyche. In Russia, she has also garnered a huge following, with former Soviet Union leader Leonid Brezhnev meeting with Baba Vanga before his death in 1982.

Followers claim he asked her how to prolong his life, with his health declining rapidly later on in life.

Dubbed the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’, she passed away at the age of 85; something she accurately predicted would happen. Spooky.

Her home near the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica has since been turned into a museum, attracting visitors year-round due to the mystique that comes alongside the Baba Vanga persona.

Her home is very simple, almost basic, having been kept identical to the way she humble lived. And with just two rooms to the building, it does not take too long to give it a proper look over.

One reason people continue to visit the site is due to its reported mineral spring waters that have ‘healing’ capabilities. At 75 degrees Celsius, it’s hot stuff.

Those who have visited the site have claimed to have felt better after cleaning their skin with the water.

Taking to Tripadvisor, one person wrote: “Make sure you wash your hands and face in one of those little fountains with the water from the hot springs.

“I had some stress-based severe skin irritation and it was gone the next day, so that water must be really healing.”

Another said: “I actually saw a man taking a dip in the hot springs that lay next to the park. I wasn’t as brave, so I just put my feet in to it.”

Outside of the so-called healing water, the Baba Vanga site is home to her grave, as well as a museum dedicated to the woman and her mysteries.

There’s also a temple, built back in 1994 through donations from Baba Vanga’s loyal following.

Blind mystic Baba Vanga made most chilling prediction yet for 2025

Blind mystic Baba Vanga made most chilling prediction yet for 2025

Well, looks like time is sort of short lads

Jess Battison

The blind mystic Baba Vanga’s most chilling prediction yet was made for 2025.

With just a couple of months to go until the end of the year (although it is too soon for Christmas), it looks like we could be nearing the greater end if this is anything to go by.

Having died back in 1996, the Bulgarian mystic’s claims are truly believed by a lot of people,

some of them have outlived her – with a whole load of others still to come.

Real name Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, she supposedly forecasted the 9/11 attacks and the 2022 UK floods.

Next year is going to see the end of the world as we know it, apparantly.

Oh yeah, according to reports, the blind soothsayer believed 2025 will mark the beginning of the events that will start a global apocalypse.

Apparently the end is coming. (NDTV)

There is some good news though. Before you start panicking lads, humanity apparently won’t actually be wiped out until 5079 – so it’s going to be a pretty sluggish apocalypse.

So let’s break down Baba Vanga’s supposed timeline of events for how the end of days will play out.

2025

Apparently, some kind of conflict in Europe next year is going to devastate the continent’s population. Well, that’s promising.

2028

Supposedly desperate for energy, humans will be starting to explore Venus to source new resources as a bit of a backup for life. Although, given the planet’s inhospitable climate, it seems unlikely this will happen.

2033

The big one many of us have long been worried about, Baba claimed this will be the year the polar ice caps will melt and raise the world’s sea levels to drastic levels.

2076

Apparently, this is when communism will make its return, and not just to those former Soviet states. Oh no, this time, it’ll take over the whole world.

The end is near, apparently. (Getty Stock)

2130

In just over a century’s time, we’re supposedly going to make contact with aliens according to Baba.

2170

As climate change continues to wreak havoc on the Earth, a drought will allegedly sweep across the whole planet.

3005

Fast forward a whole load and after making contact with them, our planet is apparently going to war with a civilisation over on Mars – human or otherwise.

3797

Ok so here is sort of the end of the world. Whoever’s left after everything that’s already supposed to happen will need to evacuate Earth as it’s apparently not going to be able to support life anymore.

5079

This will be it, the big finale. Apparently, this is the year which will be the end of the world.

Sure. There we go lads, next year is supposedly going to mark the start to the great end of it all.

These mystics really do love predicting the end of the world

Here is everything that will definitely happen in 2025, according to blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga.

As the end of the year approaches and people start digging out their Christmas decorations, you may be speculating on what is to come in 2025 and if you are, don’t bother as Baba Vanga has already beaten you to it.

Born Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, Baba Vanga has a reputation for predicting the future – with her followers claiming that she foresaw events such as 9/11, Princess Diana’s death and the election of Barak Obama as US President.

And if her predictions are anything to go by, next year is going to be a pretty big one.

Here is everything Baba Vanga has said about 2025, according to History.

War in Europe

Starting us off strong is Baba Vanga’s belief that war will break out in Europe next year. Now, you may be thinking war is already ongoing in Europe (cough, Russia and Ukraine, cough), but apparently this conflict will be big enough to ‘devastate’ the entire continent and it’s population.

Aliens

Baba Vanga has a long history with aliens and alien invasions, with the Bulgarian mystic incorrectly believing we’d get a visit from little green men in 2022.

But forget all of those other alien predictions as 2025 is definitely the year – and it will coincide with a major sporting event.

Maybe there is some truth behind the report that scientists are ‘weeks away’ from confirming alien life after all…

Human telepathy

Now strap in, because here is where the predictions get even more far-fetched.

Despite dying in 1996, Baba Vanga believed telepathy (essentially mind-reading) will become a very real thing in 2025.

Say goodbye to the privacy of your own brain!

Human organs grown in labs

This wouldn’t be the first time in which Baba Vanga has weighed in on the prospect of growing humans in labs, with 2025 specifically becoming the year we see human organs – such as kidneys, hearts, livers – grown in labs.

Unlike the other predictions of doom and gloom, this would actually be a major breakthrough in human science and extend the life expectancy of many.

A new energy source

Continuing with the hopeful predictions – see, not everything is apocalypses and aliens – 2025 will apparently see us discover a new form of energy.

Naturally, Baba Vanga didn’t provide us with any further details – but perhaps this is linked to her Venus 2028 claim?

Lewis Hamilton will win his eighth World Championship

Taking a break from speculating about the future of mankind, Baba Vanga made sure to throw her support behind Britain’s own Lewis Hamilton.

Coinciding with Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, the 39-year-old will apparently win his eighth title in 2025 and overtake the legendary Michael Schumacher.

Sources to back this ‘claim’ up are almost non-existent, so we’ll check back in with you when the F1 season wraps up in Abu Dhabi next December.

They say two heads are better than one, so just imagine what Baba Vanga and Nostradamus might have been able to achieve if they didn’t miss each other by a few centuries.

Even though the pair – who both claimed to have the ability to predict the future – never met and are no longer here to offer up any pearls of wisdom, they did kindly jot a few things down about what we ought to brace ourselves for.

Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga boasts a track record of 85 percent accuracy, so it seems we should really take heed of her terrifying prophecies if we don’t want to get caught short later down the line.

She passed away in August 1996, which is something she saw coming six years in advance, but left us all with a long list of predictions for each of the next 3,056 years to tide us over.

Nostradamus, on the other hand, first wrote down his eerily accurate thoughts on the future in the 1555 bookLes Prophéties, including the September 11 terror attacks, the assassination of President Kennedy, and Hitler’s rise to power.

The French astrologer laid out his visions for what was coming in the form of cryptic poems known as quatrains, and sadly for us lot, he suggested there was some pretty bleak stuff in store for the world.

But even more bizarrely, it seems that both of these supposed fortune tellers seemed to be on the same page about one chilling prophecy, which they expected would turn the world on its head in 2025.

What are the chances, eh?

Baba Vanga reckoned chaos would erupt across Europe in 2025 (Facebook)

The mystics each shared the belief that anarchy is set to erupt at some point next year, and Europe is set to bear the brunt of it, with Baba Vanga backing up the version of events which were first forecast by Nostradamus.

For those who don’t know, the blind mystic made some seriously chilling claims about what is in store for us lot in 2025, while warning these events could go on to trigger a global apocalypse.

One of these incidents is that mainland Europe will be the site of some serious trouble, as another conflict is set to erupt on the continent – as if we don’t have enough to worry about with Ukraine and Russia.

Vanga reckoned that a new war would break out at some point in 2025 between two countries, but the ramifications will ripple across the world – while ‘devastating’ Europe and the people who live there.

You might have usually brushed this off as a load of mumbo jumbo, but it’s not as easy to do that when the one and only Nostradamus has echoed the same sentiment as Vanga too.

He warned that ‘those from the lands of Europe’ would become embroiled in ‘cruel wars’ at some point next year, while adding that the UK will be involved.

Nostradamus chillingly added: “The ancient plague will be worse than enemies.”

But don’t worry, it’s not all bad.

If us lot in Europe do make it through this bloody siege, which is apparently on the cards, Vanga reckoned that we will also get a visit from aliens which coincides with a major sporting event, and as a cherry on top, telepathy will be perfected by 2025.

She also had high hopes for Lewis Hamilton at the World Championships, a feeling that we will be growing humans in labs and a sixth sense that we will discover a new energy source.

No pressure then.

In comparison, Nostradamus believed that although another conflict might be brewing, Russia and Ukraine might finally call it a day in 2025, due to the fact that both armies are ‘exhausted’.

The Frenchman also forecast that Brazil will be rocked by volcanic activity as well as flooding, while the Premier League might be plunged into chaos due to a controversy involving Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace.

Rogue, we know.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the duo might have made a mistake about their 2025 forecast, anyway.

Long-dead Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga said we’re in for a rocky few centuries

Jess Battison

The blind mystic Baba Vanga made a chilling prediction for 2025.

Having died a hot minute ago in 1996, the Bulgarian soothsayer’s predictions are whole-heartedly believed by many with a huge number of her claims outliving her for quite some time.

With some of those including a huge economic crisis and an assassination this year and one of her most extreme being less than half a century away, she reckoned something pretty dark will happen next year.

Because, apparently, it’s going to be the end of the world as we know it.

Yep, according to various reports, Baba Vanga claimed that the end of the world will all kick off in 2025. I mean, it is important to point out that there isn’t actually full official recordings of the Bulgarian clairvoyant’s predictions and their accuracy with some thinking it’s all a conspiracy.

However, people really do believe what she had to say so if you’re going to take it on, be warned that the apocalypse is allegedly said to start in 2025.

Although, there’s some good news on that, humanity won’t actually be wiped out until 5079 she reckoned – so it’s a pretty drawn out apocalypse

So, her apparent timeline for the end of humanity will begin next year when a conflict in Europe devastates the continent’s population.

Then, in 2028, humans will begin to explore Venus as an energy source as a bit of a backup for life.

Thing will take a turn in 2033 when she claimed the polar ice caps will melt and raise the world’s sea levels to drastic levels.

After predictions of communism spreading across the globe and humans making alien contact, she claimed Earth would then be devastated by a drought in 2170.

Fast forward again to 3005 and after that contact with the other, our planet will go to war with a civilisation over on Mars – human or not.

Our species will then end up evacuating in Earth in 3797 apparently, by which point she believed it would be uninhabitable.

All of those dark claims would then lead to the ultimate end of the world in 5079.

Sure.

I mean, remember 2012? Plenty of us were walking the school halls in fear that it was all going to end on 21 December as some claimed the Mayan tribe had predicted the end of the world with their calendar cutting off.

Many of Baba Vangas haven’t come to pass mind, but some believe she predicted the 2004 Thailand tsunami, Barack Obama’s presidency, the breakup of the Soviet Union and East and West Germany’s reunification.
